I double-cross-my-heart promised Cameron that we would make cookies over the school break, and we finally managed to get some baked today. We just made simple short-breads, something we really should have done for Christmas, but never got around to doing. Oopsie.
The cute squirrel cutter was from a set I picked up while on a recent jaunt to IKEA. We just used the squirrel with this batch of cookies because I am not in the mood to deal with arguments about who gets the fox with the big tail and how the snail is a boring shape, and so on and so forth. Everyone loves squirrel shaped cookies, don't they?
Oh, and of course, stars - big and small. For making big and little wishes.
