I still be makin' stuff.

Even though the weather has been very hot, or humid, or both, I couldn't help but make up this little jacket.   The pattern is from this lovely book that I bought a couple of months ago. 

Inside the book, this particular pattern is shown in a few different guises - a summer dress, a coat or a tunic - all of which look gorgeous and all of which have made it on to my (long!) list of things to do.

Maybe the summer dress will be next.  Modelling coats in this dreadful weather does not make for a happy pirate.  Aaaaarrrr, me poor little matey.  Your mother's a scurvy dog!
